Scottish light welterweight title
Anyone at the Radisson for this one last night between Green and Prince?
Ended in a technical draw in the 3rd according to the results.

Says Mcgurk win inside 25 seconds against Matt Seawright?? Must have been all over him lol. I like Mitch prince style but Stu Green is under rated, would be interesting to see how the fight was going before the Syoppage.

I'm not 100 percent sure but check the pro box Scotland site, they might have a report.

Spoke with Tommy yesterday and he had Stuart Green winning before the stoppage, Stuart uses his head to his advantage though !! He cut Marek in his last bout by following his combinations with his head !!geoffburt07 wrote:Says Mcgurk win inside 25 seconds against Matt Seawright?? Must have been all over him lol. It's a shame that the bout didn't go the whole distance because Mitch came on strong against Willie Limond and might have done the same here.

Is there talk of a rematch?

I'm sure the rematch will happen but Stuart weighed in at 9 st 10 so i'd like to see him fighting at lightweight where he would be really strong and be the bigger man.SDHammer wrote:Is there talk of a rematch?

Re: Scottish light welterweight title
Even if there were a rematch the winner would lose to Willie Limond IMO,
Re: Scottish light welterweight title
What Is Happening with Limon at the moment? Is he still the commonwealth champion?
There is a lot of fights out there at the weight for him domestically - either as 'step-ups' or 'step-downs' but is he the forgotten man now?

He is mate, and i think hes getting over an injury which has kept him out , also his next fight should be announced over the next few weeks mate
Re: Scottish light welterweight title
Good stuff - will be interested to see his opponent, plenty of options out there for him with the belt plus as mentioned in previous post, some good domestic scraps.
I noticed on Boxrec John Murray is listed as a light Welterweight - that would be an intriguing one though I am guessing that John is looking to get down to his old weight on more regular basis

I boxed Stuart twice in my career.the first one was a good close little scrap when I was just starting out and a bit more ambitious.i must say that by the second time we fought stu had massively improved. He's a had a few good wins since and hes a genuine , hard working , dedicated ,nice guy. I'm chuffed hes still going and doing well.
