As for the Froch post-fight interview, it was bad, but not deserving of the reaction it got. He did say he couldn't have done what Groves did at his age. And if everyone's so sensitive to lack of sportsmanship, why aren't people getting on George's back for completely disregarding Froch's comeback and acting like he had the belts stole from him? He's blamed everyone (including Hearn) but himself when really he was very close to being stopped fairly. But no one seems to mind when he shows a lack of class, just when Carl does.[/quote]

Which implies he was unfairly stopped in a world title fight - I'm sure we'd all feel aggrieved in the same circumstances.

On ringside last night Froch came across pretty well.

George was full of shite and seems like he is attempting to talk himself out of a rematch.

'I have loads of options but Carl only has one option, that's fighting George Groves'

Its poor form from Froch to talk up Chavez as the preferable option. Lets not forget. Chavez junior has never even fought at the super middleweight limit and was gifted a decision after a shocking performance last time out having been inactive for 1 year plus.

Quit the bullsh1t Froch and rematch Groves!
It's about revenue mate.
Chavez to your liking or not is a marquee name & has a big audience simple as.

Groves has arrived on the scene following the froch fight & has only competed at world level once & was ultimately stopped.
Not exactly mate, for Froch the aim is clearly to make as much money for the least amount of risk.

I just cant, for the life of me, see how Chavez jnr v Froch in a Las Vegas arena (with limited capacity) is more lucrative than Froch v Groves in a footy stadium in England on Sky Box Office. Maybe im just misinformed and I do appreciate a fight for Frich against an American-Mexican opens up the viewing market but Chavez's stock is low right now and the fight public arent demaning this.

And in fact, if you listen to any of the recent interviews from Eddie Hearn he pretty much says that Groves-Froch 2 is the biggest fight out there for Froch in terms of income but that Froch is very keen on fighting in Vegas.

What do you expect him to say mate ?
Nothing, I expect him to say it, repeatedly. I was disappointed he didn't list all his opponents again, it's another thing I expect.

Completely missing the point, I agree the fight was unfairly stopped. But I also think 10 seconds longer and it would have been over fairly anyway. My point is that Groves completely dismisses this and acts as if he went 12 rounds with Froch, won every round, but the judges gave it to Carl. He thinks he was straight up robbed of the belts. He said the belts were "rightfully his". The reality is he was actually robbed of the chance to show us all he could survive that situation. I doubt he would have survived personally but even if he had, nobody can predict the last 4 rounds. I'm just saying Froch can definitely show a lack of class, but so can Groves, just nobody seems to care when George does it.

Froch has about 12 years on Groves and studied at University; he ought to be more mannered.

He's also probably got about £8 million quid on him too. Money never reduces the size of a mans ego

I like em both. Both have made themselves look a right pair of pudenda at times in this whole fiasco though
