Sam is one of the best middleweights in the world though where as Shannon never was a middleweight and was never as good pound for pound either.. I am happy for Ray, he is a really nice guy...Shame him and Sam had to fight TWICE.. they are good friends from when they used to be down at the Peacock together

If Sam Soliman is one of the best middleweights in the world the division is poorer than the heavyweights.

i dont know how you work that out...

In the middleweight division you have two future hall of famers in Hopkins and Wright, who can still deliver the goods (ie not shot and hanging around for a payday like they do in the heavyweights)

You have 4 undefeated fighters in Ikeke, Abrahams, Sturm and Taylor who all show great potential...

You have Sam who hasn't lost a fight in nearly 5 years...

I would say the middleweight division is pretty damn good
