Bastard had all of my £15 box office money, as they certainly didn't pay much for the supporting bouts!!!!

Fair play to Fight Academy (Boxingchat going to love me).... Pretty useless undercard, a main event that looked like a forgone conclusion and apparently (according to Darke) it was £50 for the cheapest seats.

It looked full to me.

Must have made a fortune, Hatton is undoubtely a huge box office draw. What ever he was paid, it wasn't enough cause Fight Academy must be laughing all the way to the bank and it was just on him alone.

I thought Hatton was on a lot more than that! Last figures I heard were around the 3 million mark.

Thought Hatton made very hard work of Maussa, I know the guy is unorthodox, but Hatton took a lot of shots on the way in, he calmed down in the middle rounds a bit but never looked entirely comfortable. Lacked sharpness, and his footwork wasn't good.

However much they paid Mick Williamson, it wasn't enough.

Hatton £2,800,000.

More than he has ever earned for a fight with SN

that is SERIOUS money....

not many fighters earn that for a fight...

In fact i dont think any active fighters ( if you consider Tito and Oscar have retired) have ever earned that...

what do you think??

its nearly $5million

$330K goes a long way in Columbia. Wouldn't get you a decent house over here though.

Yea but hes goto pay tax, training expenses, cornermen, managers, he won't be taking that much of the 330k - he should of held out for more with the WBA bargaining chip. He didnt even get 25% - what a mandatory would get.

Mausa got double his previous highest purse so good money for him. He wouldn't earn that anywhere else.

Even if he'd defended his WBA belt in mandatories he'd have made nothing like that sort of money. Not even close!

Maussa was going to have to defend his belt against a Marquee name fighter to make any money, and chances are any of them would have beat him.

He would have gotten a lot less to rematch Harris and would almost certainly have lost.

Where did you ge the $300k from? When he was walking out of the ring, the commentator stated he got a career best payday of £850k.
