8 rounder @Welterweight. This could be an interesting fight. What to you think chaps? Erick is hoping to win this to maybe set up an eliminator with Glen Foot //// who knows!

I don't think its anything about home advantage....remember your name is WelshJack of course your gonna go with Evans, but what other qualities he has got why you think he will beat Ochieng?

Evans has the power, he can bang with his left hook, but Ochieng has good chin and decent defence,so l expect Ochieng to out box Evans, with his greater experience and skill set, but if Ochieng fights off the ropes it will be a big mistake,he was a small light middle, so losing the weight should not be draining.

No, I read most threads. I just found it funny you called the guy biased because of his username when you are part of Eric's team!

Tough fight to call for me. Evans looked good in pf but this is a different leve 8 rounds against a proven 10-12 round fighter. Ochieng has talent but last few outings hav been disappointing. Be interesting to see how he does the weight. Ochieng points for me but he needs a big performance

You don't think the crowd will play a factor? and there is nothing to split them really and Ochieng is coming down a weight class

Its a tough one because its Ericks 1st fight at this weight but technically he has more variety of shots and double the experience and fought better fighters Dale has fought. Nevertheless yes Dale is at home and the crowd could play a major factor but I don't think so. Erick UD

Great little fight ochieng left it to late didn't start til the 5th round and let evans off the hook in the 7th. He sud hav gone for the stoppage instead on standing off last 30 seconds evans was in big trouble. Evans regrouped well and got a good win well desevered. Ochieng has got to go back to drawing board.
