That's why I don't rate Tyson as highly as most. He is a wasted talent IMO. Holy, Lewis and Bowe would have beaten him prime for prime and therefore I don't have him in my top ten heavies. He lost all his biggest fights.
That's why nearly every boxing forum you go on has a Tyson/Hamed "what if" type thread, where pages and pages of career hypotheticals are discussed rather than what DID happen...but it's why they're both have specials in Boxing News this year (slow month for boxing) and why there are probably more threads about those 2 than any other boxers. They generate interest and always did. I had to chuckle when I saw Lampley and Merchant saying Tyson was bad for boxing and probably shouldn't be in the HOF and wasn't an ATG blah blah. They weren't saying that when they were commentating on his fights!

I am happy to state that almost certainly the Hamed Special will be nothing to do with HoF issues, but all to do with a mechanic to generate copy sales in a dead month. It'll be a business decision rather than an ethical one.

Again, misconception that he was schooled. 'Being schooled' is a term thrown about far too often, Jeff Lacy was taken to school by Calzaghe. A schooling should be a near enough shut out, virtually every round. That wasn't the case with Naz-Barrera.

Pretty much. He was a bit more acrobatic than both of them though. Had he stayed around for JMM, Morales and Manny we wouldn't be discussing only the Barerrea loss, those three HOF guys would have burst him.
