he has had more than 4 fights my great granda had fight in eire b4 he moved 2 scotland my grandafather reckons hes had 20 odd fights plus over 300 amateur fights at flyweight joe kiely from limerick eire then scotland glasgow where youre records say he only had 4 fight against jackie patterson rinty monighen in belfast could you plz chech this for

I'd always thought Joe Kiely would've had more fights. Unfortunately the older Scottish domestic records on here are woefully incomplete. And it's not only the lesser known players: Jackie Paterson is listed as from 'Springfield' in Ayrshire, 'Scotlan'. Springfield... isn't that just across the river from Brigadoon? I know of a housing estate called Springfield - built over (

) beautiful Ayrshire countryside around '96, but the town is hard to place....

It's the knowledgable boxing fans living abroad (who have a geniune interest) - barry (the editor here), Jim Glen, etc. that I feel are losing out the most.

did you no my great grandfather did you ever see him box or did you know him because he has passed away in south africa we have no records or anything about him my grandfather would like to try and find out how many fights he had if you can help manos thanks alot
