As I mentioned he should do so as he was not going to get a world title fight next :)

Final eliminator too. Good news. Might have to wait a while tho, the WBC can at times drag their heels on mandatories if they like the champion.

Cazares is a hard, awkward old boy, though will be massively undersized (I realise that he was basically this size fighting at light-fly, but that was then...).

Good point. Can't see them putting too much pressure on Leo Santa Cruz. Would love to see Carl v Leo, though.

True the WBC have always been favourable to Golden Boy fighters.

I like frampton maybe golden boy could sign him up if he win s this and take him to America and be a star that I think he could be

Well done Naandrew, I didn't take your claim at face value so I looked at the thread and yes, it's right :TU:

Back then you mentioned that Martinez was offered ten times the purse of their original fight in Belfast, and declined. I'm curious, how much did he get first time ? There can't be many occasions in the entire history of this sport when a guy loses a fight, and gets offered ten times the purse for a return !
