Who's next for BHOF?

Post by Old bones Ian »

So far from these shores the inductee to the boxing hall of fame in Canastota in the modern boxer catorgery are Jackie "Kid" Berg, Ken Buchanan, Barry McGuigan.
so who's going to be the next one voted in from over here, few names that i can think of are John Conteh , Alan Minter , Lloyd Honeyghan .
outside chance for Eubank and Benn.

any more suggestions?

Benn should definitely get in, lesser fighters are in there i.e. McGuigan. Benn won world titles at two weights, beat McClellan and fought and won a title in the US.

Jimmy Wilde and Ted Kid Lewis (if eligable) should have already been in.

Howard Winstone, should get in before Lewis' 5 years are up - then Lewis.

I think you have to have been retired a number of years in order that people know you aint comming back. Did stuart mention 5 years or was that in another context.
