Samson Dutch Boy Gym

Post by Autobarn »

samson dutch boy gym, aka Samson issan, a strange one, with 38 defences of the 115 WBF title, a bogus belt.

only saw him fight in muay thai, vs veeraphol sahaprom (nakornluang). seen 2 fights between them, with Samson scoring a KO in fight one and veeraphol getting up to destroy him in fight two. the fights are brutal and are supposed to be a very high level of muay thai.

appears Samson paid his dues in thai boxing then took the easy money as a boxer?

veeraphol sahaprom, obviously, won a couple of genuine boxing titles at 118, facing some genuine opposition (win, lose or draw) - denkaosan, konadu, choi (non title, between his 2 reigns), tatsuyoshi (twice), barrajas, vargas, nishioka (4x), hasegawa (twice), malinga.

-what would've happened if Samson & veeraphol had fought as boxers?

-did Samson beat any world class fighters for the bogus title? did he have any wars that are worth tracking down?

I do not think that he fought Kaovitchit...I was also curious about this matchup but would have to defer to someone who has more knowledge to provide an answer

did anyone give him a competitive or a tough fight?

any memorable fights, on his record, worth seeking out??

he seemed very strong in clinches, appeared to have good head movement and strong body punching. I'd like to know more.
