Our top order batsman should be thoroughly ashamed of their performances in the first three tests to date Trescothick aside. They've got runs here and there but they're all giving their wickets away too easily. They've all done it this morning, we'll be lucky to draw this match at this rate and therefore lose the series. Perhaps a touch of the summer success going to their heads a little? They're playing like big time charlies.
Pietersen plays how he plays. I think he's a good player to have in your side for a home test match series but away from home I think we should look at getting someone a little more steady in there. Is it wise to be going for a big shot on the last ball before tea on the first day with 4 wickets down? Never.
started belive in our own press didnt we.
101 for none end ended up 280 for six.
We have again managed to thow away a good postion with reckless play.
a little less gower and a little more aherton is needed in this team at times.
having said that im pleased for colly, he is vastly underated.
Bob willis is a total twat, and when I start listening to worzel gummidges' advice on batting will be the day i give up on cricket.
he should shut the fornicate up as he was possibly one of the worst batmen ever to grace the test arena. Yes i know he was a bolwer but why is he the only "expert" talking about our batting, He was in full flow the other day slating colly.
stick it to him paul, wizened old pompous tosser..
if i could know when he and colville are on Id break into the studio poison their tea and do everyone a favour.

I like Bob Willis...
I like his dry sense of humour...
However, I have yet to meet anyone else who thinks the same way as I do.
I also enjoy watching Rob Key in the studio, getting redder and redder under the studio lights. I've bought the under that he'll explode by mid-December.
Even as a Lancastrian, it amazes me how Paul Allott is considered worth his place. They stick him next to Lloyd as a comedy northern double act but forget that Lloyd was a decent cricketer himself and former England coach and the rest of the team are assorted accomplished test match captains and legends of the game. And then they have this dibbly-dobbler from the 1980s Lancashire side that swept some teams before it. He can only be an Andy Gray-type legacy from the early days of SKY.
