That is true, the problem is because there isn't much sporting success in britain every hope of such is then herralded by everyone leading to eventual dissapointment when whoever it is doesnot live up to britains impossible expectations. Eg. the football team who should win every world cup, the cricket team in Pakistan, the lions tour and tim bloody henman
