Decent price on Salido I think...

I agree, Banker of weekend for me. Body shots to get Rendall out of there....GlobalBox wrote:Selby stoppage at Evens is a very good price IMO I have proceeded to avail myself of this offer and will now keep all things crossed.

I think he will go past 5 but only because he will be doing nothing but trying to survive. Golovkin will catch him sooner rather than later.Riddick Blowe wrote:Guys, does anyone have an opinion on Golovkin/Adana going the distance? Don't know anything about Adana but on paper he looks like a 'teak tough Ghanaian!' The problem is I see he was down vs Don George and down twice against Dyah Davis. Can he at least get to the later rounds?
Selby hits a lot harder than that percentage indicates, it was well known that he "allowed" a lot of his early bouts to run the distance for experience reasons and on the advice of his team but since then he has stopped some solids kids in Simpson and Smith, the type that don't go down easy, also feel he has been crying out for something to motivate him recently and has kind of let his level of performance slip. Thereby for me the Euro Crown in front of his own countryman will surely have him buzzing, he looked a lot better at the weigh in today than recent fights and whilst Munroe looked ripped I just keep remembering the Quigg body shots that took it all away from Rendall, if Quigg can do that (although better delivered perhaps not with the power of Selby) then I just feel Selby can and that Evens is a very good price.Riddick Blowe wrote:Guys, what is your reasoning behind backing Selby by stoppage? Just asking because I don't know anything about Lee other than he has a low KO percentage. Thoughts please.
His world title shot was over two years earlier! Quigg was a big fight on one of the biggest shows of the year.digzee wrote:I don't see the Selby stoppage as a banker myself, his last couple of performances have been a bit flat and he often cruises, gets lazy and does just enough, Rendall is always fit and I don't think he was up for it against Quigg, he was going from a world title fight to a domestic fight, I don't think you can judge him too much from that only stoppage loss. I know this is a higher weight class and Selby is looking to impress at home but i'm gonna pass on this one.
Totally agree. I also think Rendall will fold if it comes on top too. Have had a fair bit myself in this.GlobalBox wrote:Selby hits a lot harder than that percentage indicates, it was well known that he "allowed" a lot of his early bouts to run the distance for experience reasons and on the advice of his team but since then he has stopped some solids kids in Simpson and Smith, the type that don't go down easy, also feel he has been crying out for something to motivate him recently and has kind of let his level of performance slip. Down side for me is the recent performances of Selby but I just feel he was going through the motions again Simion and Walsh, if I am wrong however and he has plateud then my
bank balance will be significantly weaker tomorrow and there will be less spending money for my family holiday in March.
I didn't realise it was that far after to be honest, but I still believe he wasn't up for that fight, no disrespect to Quigg but there's no way it would have been that easy for him if Rendall was at his best, so if everyone is expecting the same Munroe I would be careful. I guess we don't know what Rendall has got left physically and mentally until the final bell.mickey1975 wrote:His world title shot was over two years earlier! Ochieng outright
Rees/Buckland not to go distance

Isn't it just to avoid punters thinking 18 counts when in fact it's over 18? They could just say 19 and over it seems.Gazmac81 wrote:one of my mates tried to explain this to me a while back but what does the .5 mean inbets
Like in Darts its over 18.5 180s?????
why not just over 18 180s?????

I only seen the Selby - Munroe weigh in today and Selby looks 2 weight classes bigger than Rendall. I think he wears him down late but I'm not confident enough to bet on it.keithmoonhangover wrote:I think Selby - Munroe is closer than you guys think. Not betting on it like. Too much win going on to celebrate our magnificent victory over the Gerodie Horse Punchers.
Don't feel so bitter towards Ochieng now that Rees/Buckland has gone the distance.Deno1986 wrote:OchiengDeno1986 wrote:Mouthwatering weekend of sport ahead with the boxing, rugby, football and Superbowl. Starting off with a speculative accumulator tomorrow:
