Boxing podcast
Have recently got round to understanding the world of the podcast several years after everyone else, and was wondering if people could recommend good boxing podcasts worth downloading for the daily two and half hour round commute?

Re: Boxing podcast
Buncey's Boxing Podcast is a decent listen. Available via iTunes however if you don't have an iPod, you can download the podcast in MP3 format here:
http://player.fm/series/bunceys-boxing- ... r-williams
Right click on the yellow "Play This episode" button and then save link as.... to wherever you want the file to go. I think it's only about 27mb and will take seconds to download.

Boxing podcasts that are worth a listen
Boxing asylum-in depth knowledge on fights around the world
On the ropes-normally has one on one interviews with boxers and trainers
Ringside(toe to toe)-quite a short podcast but has a lot of information on the british scene

Re: Boxing podcast
Boxing News do a weekly podcast, it's a bit short (usually no more than 40 mins), but pretty good.

Re: Boxing podcast
Didn't realise the ESPN podcast had finished although I had noticed he hadn't put one up in a while.
I love podcasts and my two boxing staples are:
1) Boxing News - interesting, informative and concise but they could maybe get better mics or speak up a bit sometimes.
2) Boxing Asylum - great podcast. Knowledgeable guys who have a laugh, talk sense and are not in the pocket of any organisations so don't pull any punches in their punditry.

Re: Boxing podcast
I swear I was listening to the ESPN one a week or two ago, I think it's just sporadic as opposed to finished, no?
Re: Boxing podcast
Yes I thought he just stuck them up as and when. It'll be back I reckon.

Last one was almost a month ago, he did just 2 in December but yeah they certainly look sporadic. Shame as they used to be pretty good and I liked Keiran's voiceiamasadlittleboy wrote:I swear I was listening to the ESPN one a week or two ago, I think it's just sporadic as opposed to finished, no?

And so it ends. After seven or so years, the Heavy Hitting Boxing Podcast is officially an ex-podcast. It is not merely pining for the fjords. It is deceased. All good things, and all that ...
