Now on twitter he is saying that he is letting the fans vote on who he should fight next between Khan and Maidana.

Im probably in the minority by wanting Khan from that choice, I believe Maidana is too crude and wouldnt land a glove all night. FM would stroll to a landslide points victory. I believe Khan would have some early success before maybe being stopped late on and id rather watch that than a snore fest. Maidana would always have a punchers chance but cant see him causing problems.

Outwith the options I would have preferred Danny Garcia i thin since he can box and punch.

Khan far more exciting fight , think the americans will vote for Maidana though

i hope hes just bullshitting to get intrest out there

Khan will be gutted if this falls through , although he can then claim Mayweather ducked him and he is now P4P Champ

theres potential for some great scraps in next few years between the below @ W/W

Mayweather
Khan
Broner
Maidana
Pacquio
Garcia

after the way he dealt with canelo i really dont think anyone has a chance against mayweather

we need to go into GGG Territory but even then id fancy mayweather

ill be happy if he finishes his career with the Pacquio fight under his belt though

really dont want to see Maidana in there with him though ,

Maidana doesnt hit as well as shot Moseley, Who buckled Floyd and had him buzzed for a minute max.

Amir would make the fight interesting... and being outrageous i dont think Floyd will hit him hard enough to get the KO.

Maidana is so crude that Mayweather will make him look like a novice amateur.
People always say that styles make fights and these styles don't mix well for the viewers.

I think Khan could impress in the early rounds if he has the confidence to throw flurries of punches. De La Hoya had some success with a similar tactic although Mayweather wasn't taking many clean shots. Obviously De La Hoya was big and strong at the weight and Khan will just be moving up. As soon as Mayweather figures out Khan's speed and tactics then he will slowly pick him apart and possibly push a late stoppage.

I actually really want to see Khan/Floyd, as weird as that is.

I'd be putting a crazy tenner on Khan by decision too.

i cant see Mayweather losing any points decision in his career now

he must be the only boxer in the world that could sit on the ropes and not throw anything back and still be given the round , due to he Now legendery masterfull Defence

Mayweather puts khan down a few times in a fight i reckon , khan gets back up and maybe makes it to the end

could be a fight that makes Mayweather exciting looking

Probably, but I have a really weird scenario in my head where Khan outlands him and wins a close decision...

I don't think it's entirely inconceivable that Khan negotiates 12 rounds of the low-output potshotting that constitutes Mayweather's modern-day style, and I don't think it's beyond the realms of fantasy that Khan's busy workrate brings him success in the fight, maybe a little more success than many could envisage.

Interesting Boyle is offering 16/1 on Khan decision.

They fought at 154 mate, Id disagree that De La Hoya wasnt strong at that weight. Not at his best age wise but defo strong at 154. He was big in the ring that night. A weight drained De La Hoya was the version who was destroyed by Pacquiao at 147!!

Anyway, my point was that De La Hoya's tactics on the night put mayweather in trouble at times and Khan is maybe capable of using a similar game plan (flurries of punches) but might not have the size and strength to do it at 147.

I really don't think Amir Khan has the ring intelligence to worry Mayweather. Mayweather will read him in a round or two and once he adapts Khan will become clueless, confused and start falling over.

I wouldn't be so sure regarding him not losing a decision.

The fix was clearly in for the Canelo fight. The judges scores were pathetic. If Canelo had actually managed to genuinely win three rounds in that fight then the judges were giving him the win!

I remember Moseley catching him flush but it didn't really buzz him at all let alone a minute, khan's speed and fast start would definitely make things interesting for a round or two but then it's the same old story ! No one pushes Floyd close except GGG IMO and I can't see that one ever happening !

I had never heard anyone use the term 'Buzz' or 'Buzzed' until Groves post fight interview v Froch and now its mentioned in nearly every thread. Did George Groves plant the BUZZ seed or was I just oblivious to its use until now? Not that it matters, just an observation.

It certainly did 'stun' him, but only briefly. He spent the one minute rest at the end of the round watching the replay on the big screen above to ensure he didn't get caught with it again.

BUZZ off Mate

no its used quite alot in the Uk boxing Scene , it makes seem like getting hurt not that bad

Think Amir Khan says it when he was rendered unconcious on his feet against prescott :P

Buzzed = See Kell Brook getting caught off Schenchenko

I understand what it means mate, had just never heard people use it until groves kept blabbing it. Usually id hear people say dazed, stunned, hurt etc but buzzed is the new buzz word it seems!

I don't know why he does not fight Golovkin? Best fight out there and GGG said he would come down to 154 to make it happen. Simple then.
