Anthony Ogogo and Chris Eubank Jr

Post by Glass Joe »

Does anyone know when these two will be fighting next? I'm surprised no one has signed Eubank yet, was expecting Matchroom to snap him up after his fall out with Hennessy. Ogogo and Eubank will probably meet for the British title in 2015 if they don't duck each other

Ogogo was supposed to be on the Gonzalaez-Mares undercaard on Feb 15, before that was called off. He could fight on the Canelo bill then Mayweather-Khan weekend, because Golden Boy know there will be plenty of British press there.

Its not always about how good you are, its about how many bums you put on seats. You don't have to be a great fighter to win a world title in this day and age.

I think it is strange that he's still a free agent, guess he's either got a few offers he is considering or has got a rude surprise in terms of how his marketability is rated by the business.

Hearn and Warren are stacked with fighters and I am fairly sure Hatton has hit his limit as well. Odd situation for a young, decent middleweight contender to be in.

It's kind of a pity that Frank Maloney (despite not always being Mr. Popular) is still not in the picture because he did at least offer lots of experience, had a big contacts book and knew how to get the media interested in a prospect. He was a credible 'third way' option for those guys who did not want to fight for Hearn or Warren. I kind of miss wee Frank.

He left Hennessy to fight more, and Hennessy is promoting a card on March 1st whilst Eubank has yet to fight again.

The Channel 5 coverage of him was annoying anyway.

"Let's talk to your father", whilst pushing the kid who'd done all the work out of the way.

Hang on a minute Eubank left Hennessey because he wanted to be self Promoted / Managed. Why would anyone else want him ?

He hasn't done much, but frankly, neither has BJS. I thought Ryder beat him last time out, and Eubank has a much better workrate than Ryder. I'd watch that fight.
