Oliver McCall & Danny Williams spoilers

Post by Tuan_Jim »

Marcin Rekowski survives a 3rd round knockdown (big right hand) to win a dubious 8 rd split decision over nearly 50 year old Oliver McCall.

Danny Williams splattered in one round by Andrzej Wawrzyk. Hopefully this brings the Brixton Bomber's horrorshow to an end.

Some of you may remember Andrzej Wawrzyk as the utterly inept cannon fodder Alex Povetkin blew out in what the WBA claimed to be a 'world title fight'.

Thank me whenever.

EDIT: hearing the decision has been changed and McCall declared the winner!

thanks :TU:

getting stopped in one round is rarely pretty. Williams didn't look clever against Chisora and when was that, 3? 4 years ago?

10 years after knocking out Mike Tyson, he's reduced to one-round cannon fodder for this shapeless pasty Pole? Tragic, and time to retire.

McCall has sure aged well. Even at almost 50 he could probably beat the crap out of his son.

He could probably beat up a giant brute like David Price. Not that I want to see that fight, I want the Bull to now go out on a win, although I don't for a second think that he will do.

That was really sad to watch. Williams was half decent in his prime he doesn't have license in the UK for a reason. People round him must be to blame whoever is involved with his career should be talking him out of it or he will do some serious damage.

Also remember watching that pole against Povetkin he was terrible !!!!!!!!!!!!!

For those interested here is the full McCall fight. He looks great at 240lb. Really an amazing 50 year old.

McCall looks great for his age. And seemingly at peace with himself, which is good to see. I'd give him a great chance against Joshua and Hughie Fury.

Sadly in boxing terms Danny's become the polar opposite of him.
