Sturm v Macklin would be better
I'd love to see Sturm v GGG but more chance of the pope converting to Islam than that one :(
Murray vrs Sturm deal done !
Re: Murray vrs Sturm deal done !
True, but I get the impression that Sturm likes to do just enough to nick rounds whereas Murray can sometimes look slow and ponderous - I can't imagine that this is a deliberate tactic.Autobarn wrote:back to murray and sturm, whoever lifts their ordinarily slow, one-pace, could be the one who takes the victory and the title.
Re: Murray vrs Sturm deal done !
I think murray's a bit big for the weight, whereas sturm, as you say, does just enough - saves his energy for the next fight, especially at home.
would like to see one of these up the pace and the variety.
this is murray's 3rd chance so I'd like to see him really go for it.

Nothing no shame in that
Why cant somebody just be happy to be one of the 4 main belt holders
'Froch ain't never been number one, Ward is better'
Unfortunately for them, being 2nd best in a division behind the 2nd best fighter across the whole sport doesn't make for a bad fighter
Calzaghe ruled a much weaker division. He would be second best to Ward too.

Murray sounded very unhappy on the Bunce show last night. Said basically he didnt know what was going on was kept in the dark and wasnt even told about the Quillin offer.

During his "reign", Calzaghe was clear number one for two years at the most.Tomasino wrote:lillywhite14 wrote:Its a way of devaluing a fighters achievements. From the Lacy fight until he moved up to light heavy.
