Not sure who wins, but this would be a crowd pleasing fight. Two guys who liked to punch and had average chins. Peter would have the advantage as the bigger man, but Bert was tough. Great match..

Peter was slower, more ponderous but much the bigger, stronger man.
Would wear down Cooper on way to a 7th round KO.

A possible scenario but I think it would be a hard days work. When Bert was In shape and motivated he was tough. Peter was not terribly reliable to appear in top form, ( well neither was cooper ). If both Guys show up ready to fight it would be a fun slug fest

Peter wasn't much bigger; he just carried more bulk/fat.

That said, Peter didn't have a granite chin but it was more dependable than Bert's. Cooper's stamina was also notoriously unreliable. I see him taking an early lead and hurting Sam early but getting stopped late as he runs out of steam.

Sam Peter would knock out Bert Cooper more often than not.
