I'm actually quite excited about this fight... Even though Gomez is a bit of a question mark fighter these days.Podmore_Birmingham wrote:Your probably right , unless he gets caught- limond has always struck me as someone who'd go down with a decent shot landed.
Tom Podmore.
I don't particularly like Gomez, and I don't like the horrible things he says in the press but I love watching him fight.... This fight will be Gomez chasing Limond down, and the result will be determined by whether Limond can keep Gomez on the jab for long enough to tire him and then take over the fight with his skills.

Gomez is putting £100,000 of his own money into a 2nd Arthur clash.
Who even know's if he's gonna win against Limond yet?

I see this as a bit of a Williams-Skelton. No disrepect to Limmmond with this - he has improved a hell of a lot since the Arthur fight - but I think Gomez, in theory, should stop him if he is anywhere close to his potential. But there are obviously huge questions over his fitness and mind. Hopefully Limmond can box him out.
