Who do you think will be Quigg's next opponent?

Post by lefty »

I have a feeling it will be someone disappointing. Martinez is already tied up. Both Santa Cruz and Rigondeaux they wont touch with a barge pole, Frampton is got a final eliminator and so on. It's not looking like it's gonna be a top operator.

I know we will be disappointed with opponent

I would personally like him to fight Kid Galahad as I feel it would be closer than people think

My money would be on a Mexican who we never heard of before.

The top 15 WBA are

1. Nehomar Cermeno
2. Yoandris Salinas
3. Hozumi Hazagawa
4. Oscar Escandon
5. Johnathan Romero
6. Shingo Wake
7. Chris Avalos
8. Tyson Cave
9. Sod Kokietgym
10. Tshifhiwa Munyai
11. Jonathan Arenas
12. Juan Dominguez
13. Carl Frampton
14. Rafael Vazquez
15. Jesse Magdaleno

Avalos, Cave or Munyai would would my guess. Wake would be interesting though.

Could be a poor card this. Was expecting Quigg v Kiko which I would really be interested in.

At least McDonnell is in a final eliminator for his old belt against this guy on the card.

Good to see him in a legit fight instead of irrevelant and pointless tune ups.

Very basic fighter but usually fun to watch. Quigg would stop Avalos easily enough.
