Re: Enzo Mac v Juergen Braehmer
I did think enzo looked drained when he first stepped down to LH, but i feel hes looked alot stronger in his last few fights. Lets not forget apart from the ovil mckenzie KO, the others were against strong cruisers. Them shots would have put most away. Braemher is no bigger a puncher than ovil mckenzie, enzo will be the bigger man on the night. Lets hope enzos legs are strong on the night!!
Re: Enzo Mac v Juergen Braehmer
Enzo really comes across as a decent man; I thought he was for the knackers yard a couple of years ago but he's done well and proved me wrong. I hope he gets the win - I have to say though that watching him box makes me feel very nervous.
Re: Enzo Mac v Juergen Braehmer
Enzo's has come back well recently. Does he deserve a world ititle shot at 175? No, but neither does Brahmer and he's the supposed champion!!!
Brahmer has to be favorite but's in reality he's a small Light-Heavy adn is showing some signs of long term wear and tear, he looked very fragile in stages against Gutenecht who isn't a great puncher. Enzo has the power to stop Brahmer and certainly shouldn't be completely out boxed.
Good fight, but really a decent European title scrap, no where near ligitimate top world level. Doesn't make it a bad fight though

Brahmer is small. He fought Hatton at welter once upon a timefizzjambo wrote:Enzo's has come back well recently. Does he deserve a world ititle shot at 175? No, but neither does Brahmer and he's the supposed champion!!!

Small?! He's about 6ft. He fought Ricky when they were junior amateurs or something and he hadnt fully grown.danconnollyeire wrote:Brahmer is small. i always do this with enzo! pretty much cry out for his retirement then everytime he gets a big fight i start to think he can really pull it off! im sure he can but whether he will or not is a different story! like someone else mentioned, the mcphilbin fight is too fresh in the memory and its too hard to imagine him not getting tagged hard by braehmer at some point!
still would love to see him do it!

It's a bit like Nicky Piper's final fight against Michahczewski. Probably the same bet result coming too. Stoppage loss and retirement!

I think it will be an entertaining fight, hopefully Mac does the business but I wouldn't be surprised if he lost.
On a different note how the hell is Maccarinelli 6'4" with only a 74.5" reach?

You are both hideously wrong. I cannot let this go, because Innernetz hyperbole has to end somewhere.
& especially those bringing up shite about a recent result, kindly to be watching the entirety of this & then tell me if you think what you saw recently was "teh worstest stoppage EVAH!!!":

(In four parts, but it's all up there).
Please.
Re: Enzo Mac v Juergen Braehmer
Saw Braehmers fight for the Euro last year which was really good. Whilst not a genuine World Champion he is solid Euro level at least and should be too much for Enzo I'm afraid. Hope I'm wrong and Enzo does a job on him.
Re: Enzo Mac v Juergen Braehmer
Wheelbarrow job on the Braehmer KO win for me.
Re: Enzo Mac v Juergen Braehmer
I can only see a KO loss for Enzo. Good luck though, and keep those hands up!

You sound like HAGLER2002!
I tend to agree with you but Enzo can bang, there's a small chance he could get lucky.
Re: Enzo Mac v Juergen Braehmer
Enzo's best chance, Lockett seems very realistic. Still think it is a hard hard ask, but this is what he has wanted he has a commonwealth title so why not.
I can see why people are saying it is not deserving, but in someways I am glad it is happening. I hope this might start picking up the value and respect for the commonwealth belt again.
I think Enzo has lost some of his punching dynamism since boiling down. With a 100% stoppage record since the move down (in every fight he has won) obviously he can still punch, but not sure he is the one punch spectacular KO artist of before.... anyhow, Matt Dawson has a good chin.
Enzo does have underated boxing, but Braehmer has shown in the past to be susceptible to good jabbers (Mario Shite) - but that's one of Enzo's worst weapons.
It could be intriguing, Enzo always gives it his all and is an underrated and Braehmer can be pedestrian.... but think in Germany, just think the lack of vulnerability will be a telling factor. Not really predicting if it will be via stoppage or points, Braehmer's fights invariably go the distance when he steps to world title level, particularly at Light Heavy.
Its quite intriguing.

Not sure how many people noticed this but the bout was announced when Enzo wasn't ranked...and today when the rankings were announced...Enzo magically appears at #7...
