Wonder if that's why Alex contacted The Scottish Sun last week and did the story and photoshoot with the bounced cheques. I figured something quite stirring must have happened behind the scenes to motivate somebody to do that.

A long time ago, Warren was unbeaten in over 30 such legal cases, starting back in the 80's.

In an 2000 interview with the Guardian, the record was forty odd wins, one loss.

Don't think they were all massive cases, and I do recall Don King taking him to the cleaners, it was reported in the serious press that Fwank settled for £7.2m. He then sued the lawyers who represented him. They had previously represented him over a hundred times.

All this is in the public domain, mainly from an interview he gave with the Guardian in 2000.

On the BBC, a reporter once asked Naz Hamed if he felt he'd been exploited by his former manager. Fwank then sued the BBC.

He absolutely hated the situation with King, who had run rings around him. Fwank described the seven million quid settlement as "cheap at the price" and was relieved it was over. Having been taken to the cleaners so severely, he seems to have no sympathy for those he dishes it out to.

It is going to be fascinating to see who the eventual winners are when Fwank and Ricky Burns' dispute ends up in court in the summer.
