Dont get me wrong, he is a stiff but he can punch! If the likes of Cunningham and others can drop him, Abell will be able to.

Just watched Arreola blow him away on youtube - I thought I'd seen this at the time and yes it was the same one. Arreola nearly took his head off with the punch that kicked off the stoppage.

In fairness to Abell, he's not old and he's not fat or out of shape. And he can obviously punch, at a certain level. He seemed game enough against Arreola, for the brief time it lasted.

Abell is a bit more game/willing and better than Gonzalo Basile, but that's not saying much. Joey Abell is one of those American journeymen who is dangerous while it lasts--- after all he extended Pulev five rounds. I'd put him in the same class as someone like Jason Gavern. However, I think after 4-5 rounds of Fury boxing him, he goes for the kayo.
