I hated Norris and I hate FMJ. Don't care who would win.
The fighter that beats Floyd is a fighter that can out-jab him and can match his output, i.e., match his stamina. If you can't stay strong over twelve rounds Floyd beats you, period. He wins going away because he never tires and he lands more often than you do.
If Norris was conditioned properly and could maintain his focus he could beat Floyd. Floyd breaks down real men with his punishing accuracy and better stamina and defense. He has otherworldly stamina and defense.
If Norris could pace himself (and I don't recall him tiring badly in any fight) he would be a problem for Floyd. His weakness was his chin and I don't think Floyd has the power to put him to sleep like Jackson, Simon Brown and some of the other fighters that kayoed him late in his career.
Would be interesting while it lasted, but in the end, gun to my head, I wouldn't bet a plugged nickle on Norris's chin.
Split decision either way and if it were to end in a stoppage it would be in favor of Norris.

It's possible, though hard to picture someone outboxing Floyd from the outside. Gotta pump that jab if you're gonna try, that's for sure, and Norris was pretty dynamic from what I remember.
I think you gotta be an inside fighter, which is why I didn't think Canelo had much of a shot and why Pacquaio would get the shit kicked out of him.

Depends on who it is. I'm pretty sure Hearns would have it even easier keeping Floyd on the outside.
Norris was a natural at Jr. Middle, while Floyd didn't ascend to that class until he was already well into his thirties. Having that natural size as well as being the younger man would give Norris a huge advantage. Pound for pound, Mayweather is by far the better fighter, but if we were to take a prime Norris and combine the timing at which Mayweather showed he could fight above 150, Floyd would be giving up too much. And as some have already said, Norris's shaky chin was really only cracked by men who possessed more fire power than Money did. Still it would be a close fight and wouldn't be surprised to see it go either way. But I think an early 90's Norris has an edge over Floyd in the 2010's era.
I'd favor Norris in this fight. He didn't have the greatest chin, but I don't think Floyd has the firepower to take advantage of that, and I believe Norris has all the tools, speed and power necessary to give Floyd absolute hell and either stop him late or win a close decision.
I just think he would have the offense to shut down a lot of Floyd's attack. Floyd would spend a lot of the fight on the defensive getting outworked and outfought.
