If Sonny Liston turned up at the door wanting some money I reckon you could rustle some up from somewhere.

I get Dennis Rodman as my bodyguard, and let him deal with Sonny, (and freak him out), while I'd walk out the back door.

If Sonny asked me for money I'd fight him the same way Ali did and make him in quit. He wouldn't come back again, if he did I'd knock him out with one punch second time around.

It's well written that Liston didn't prepare properly for the first Ali fight. Ali's two previous fights didn't make him look too dangerous and Liston prepared for a quick win, Liston was a heavy favourite. Something that often gets forgotten is their rematch was meant to in November 1964 but was cancelled due to Ali being hospitalised after a hernia operation. Liston had trained hard for the rematch getting down to 208lbs and when it was cancelled it was a bitter blow for Liston, all his training had been for nothing and had to wait another 6 months. He was arrested in December after for drink driving and fighting police officers, spending xmas in jail.

This human story rings true for me.....his personal bad judgment brought him down. Simple as that. No conspiracy.

Thought a young loudmouth nearly cartoonish gold medalist would be easy pickings.

didn't commit to train in spite of a change in schedule.

And....the best he could have done in just about any case would have been to give a good account of himself.

"And if you do that, I won't break your Father's face."

    That's why I would have Dennis Rodman as my bodyguard.Like Reed Richards did to Galactus, I would have the Ultimate Nullifier.

You locked that other thread...and yet you let this one and loads of others stand for Il Duce BoxBuzz.....why?

This man is an absolute imbecile and insults this forum with every word he types, yet he's allowed to type away while other threads from much better posters are deleted why?

I don't understand why Il Duce still goes unbanned, he's an obvious troll. He serves absolutely no use to this forum. He has no sense to give intelligent conversation and doesn't intend to even if he did have the sense, he's a troll.

Honestly BoxBuzz by allowing this to go on, you're just as much a part of Il Duce's ruining of BOTP as he is. You've helped him ruin this side of the forum.

I'm learning about boxing from his posts. Why should he be banned? You're the one doing the insulting.

Really?

You may have just given Dr Buzz the excuse he needs to kick Il Duce off the forum.

As I understand it, Dr Buzz claims Il Duce is no problem as his shite is so far out of touch with reality that no rational human being would believe any of it.

But now you say Il Duce is teaching you about boxing...

Fair enough. I still respect you too, believe it or not. I'd prefer you'd start speaking in a more realistic manner when it comes to Boxing. Clearly you know your Pro Wrestling as Ric Flair is the greatest, and we both understand that. But you could use a little learning on Boxing if you think Il Duce has anything to teach you.

Will take into consideration.

Can you say anything nice about Il Duce's contributions?

Honestly no...he's been a complete and absolute idiot since joining this forum and has contributed absolutely nothing. He should be banned.

If you think he's a good poster....I can't say you have a bright future here either.

Well I hope we can be cordial with each other, regardless.

Have you thought about blocking him? I just discovered the block feature.

Well do you have any actual thoughts on Boxing. Or Are you just following Duce's trail of stupidity?

If you want to actually talk boxing I'm your man.
