Re: Liam Smith
Whats the story with his Commonwealth title? He won the vacant belt against O'Meara then i dont think its been on the line since
Re: Liam Smith
He said on twitter it's going to be emotional giving the title back to the board yesterday, but that it would be coming back to his house soon. I would guess people have jumped to conclusions from that when it's more likely that the board have asked for the belt back since he hasn't won it outright yet.Parson Cross wrote:Anyone know if it's accurate to say Liam is vacating British title ?

Last I know of was that Obodai Sai was the mandatory for it and Fwank set the fight up for the 21st September, but the Ochieng fight went out to purse bids around the same time, Hearn won and set that fight up for the 21st September, Liam chose the British title fight, so I'm guessing he was stripped of the Commonwealth and Sai is currently sat waiting for a shot at the vacant belt.handsofstone wrote:Whats the story with his Commonwealth title?
