You realize that what you're saying Arcari almost "became the first man to accomplish" in the 1970's, was already accomplished by Henry Armstrong in the late 30's and early 40's right?

Armstrong was a Featherweight, Lightweight and Welterweight Champion before Arcari was ever a Professional Fighter.

Also every single one of Arcari's title bouts were at the Jr. Welterweight limit...from the looks of it he didn't even fight in any other weight class.

Jose Napoles got 'bad advive' from Promoter George Parnassus and Manager Arturo 'Cuco' Conde.

Bruno desperately wanted a '2nd Championship' before he retired.

I understand that you're saying he came close to fighting Napoles, but that would have been two titles. Where does the "three" come from?

No wait. I get it. I get the whole thing. He's on a trip to see how outlandish he can get without being banned. He started with the completely fictional quotes, and implying that Ali ducked people. That reached it's pinnacle with the thread where he implied that Ali ducked Bunny Johnson. I think he's thinking "well, if I got away with that somehow, where can I go next? I know! I'll state that a guy who never even fought for a title at a second weight was close to being the first to win titles at three weights, even though that was achieved 40 years before".

I predict that if this one passes, the next will be something implying that Gregorio Peralta ducked a challenge from Sot Chitalada for the Russian middleweight title.

For me, "very near" might be that he won titles at two weights, had a lead in a title fight in a 3rd, and got KOed. Like Robinson for instance, he was very close. A man who only ever contested a title in one division is not close, and especially he is not close to being the first to achieve something that was achieved 40 years previously.

I'm with you on Chitalada though. He totally should have been Russian middleweight champ.

I love Bunny Johnson, for being the first black British heavyweight champ, for moving up from light heavy to heavy successfully, and for being a really nice bloke. He was nowhere near world class as a heavyweight, and everyone in the world knows it. (he wasn't good enough for the European light heavyweight title)
