The 3rd Ross-McClarnin fight is one of my favorite fight films of all time. Excellent quality and the level of skills and stamina displayed is the epitome of the golden age of boxing.

A fabulous little doc. Really enjoyed that. I think the fighters of the 30's aren't given as much publicity as those from some other eras, in particular when it comes to documentaries. Great narration too.

McLarnin is one of the most underrated fighters in history. I'd have no problem if somebody had him in the all time Top 10. His list of opposition to total fights might be second to none.

Very good video documentary, really evocative

The 'Babyface Goes To Hollywood' biography is fantastic; I really liked how McClarnin came across and Pop Foster loved him like a son. McClarnin had some fantastic luck in his life and career. I have to say that Jimmy wrecked some very good fighters and had some really good scalps - he tended to have a bit of a weight advantage in a few of his big fights.
