Hardly double standards. Hughie would definitely have been issued with a 28 or 45 day suspension from the BBBofC doctor leaving him no choice but to pull out of his next fight.
Yep. If Tyson Fury got a genuine cut, just like anyone else, he wouldn't be allowed to fight.
It's a bit odd that he was sparring so close to fight time, after him and his team had such a dig at Haye for the same. It would make me chuckle if Fury had to pull out of this with a cut.

how is it not double standards?
the fact remains that both fighters pulled out of a fight for similar reasons but when haye does it tyson slates him and even now, months after the event, he is still having a pop.

Even god knows your full of poo.
“Do you give the horse his might? Do you clothe his neck with a mane? Do you make him leap like the locust? His majestic snorting is terrifying. He paws in the valley and exults in his strength; he goes out to meet the weapons. He laughs at fear and is not dismayed; he does not turn back from the sword. Upon him rattle the quiver, the flashing spear, and the javelin." - Job 39:19-23
I can imagine Tyson being miffed at Haye, regardless of if it's rational or not; he's out of pocket by £5,000,000 and it's cost him in training expenses and he's been out of action for how many months. Haye may have been the absolute unlucky gent he undoubtably is but I can understand why Fury slags him off.

You're not really a horse though are you? It doesn't say anything there about being able to type.

This is getting a bit sad now. Actually I lied... it was sad awhile ago..

Haye's cut was not caused during a contest and as a result he was not issued with a suspension. His cut was allegedly caused during intense sparring rather close to his next contest. Team Fury were annoyed by the alleged severity of the sparring so close to Haye's next fight and the use of a rather inexperienced sparring partner. In contrast Hughie's cut was caused during a contest and a suspension had to be issued.
Either way Tyson Fury can be rather childish at times, no doubt.

It's funny that Tyson Fury's cut happened while sparring Eddie Chambers a little over a week before the fight. Which is exactly what he slagged Haye off for.

Laughable isn't it.
Crazy mate, he acts like a little bairn sometimes.

The only funny thing is people taking T. Fury's obvious joke so seriously.

It ain't a joke mate, Fury says he would fight no matter what the injury is.

The key difference is that Chambers is an experienced pro fighter who has done sparring with countless top pros so they didn't expect him to be so aggressive one week before Fury's fight. Whereas Haye allegedly got cut by an amateur boxer who may be seen as a rash choice of sparring partner so close to a fight. It's all subjective really, I.e. what's the latest point before a fight one should spar?
