Looking through a list of similer names using boxrec's search option I noticed that unlike most boxers that had the letter I in red box or A in a green box to denote inactive/active that a boxer named Rocky Ferrari had a letter C in a white box. What does the C mean?

Can anyone explain why this record is locked? He only had ten fights in six years.

i think the C's are usually given to bigger name fighters who have announced their retirement. just search for a big name fighter and you'll see.

Fights of big-name fighters are usually better recorded so it's easier to check whether their records are complete or not

The "C" is givin to ANY fighter whose record is believed to be complete. See Kelly Sonners.
