Great list. However I would put Todorov ahead of Mesa. He was a two-time world champ at this division and olympic silver medallist (Mesa a three time world bronze medallist only) and he beat Mesa twice.

I'd also move up Juarez,Kamsing and Sattarkhanov.

Istvan Kovac is at least 10 places upper as well as Stanislav Stepashkin. Beksat Sattarkonov deservs higher spot.
And Serafim Todorov i put on number 1 spot:))) But seriously, he is top 3. I don't know so many fighters that received best fighters awards on World and continental championships - "Russell cup" and "Nikiforov Denissov cup". Bad luck for him at Olympics, otherwise he is for sure number 1 at all time

I'm not sure Davis deserves the No 1 spot. He was at his best as a lightweight. Also Meldrick Taylor won only the boycotted LA Olympics. It's true he had beat Adolfo Horta but that was a 3-2 decision in the US. And Horta had a much better overall career and was at his best at this weight.

My No 1 and 2 would be 1. Horta, 2. Todorov. Tishenko is on his way to be one of the top 3 if he stays in this division.

Great comments, and I need a little revision, however Mesa did win the world challenge twice which made me put him over Todorov,Kovacs only spent a brief time as a feather,Sattarkanov died tragically at 20 obviously never reached his true potential and had a messy fight with Juarez at the Olympics where he tired and could have been disqualified,Kamsing I only saw fight once perhaps he should be higher but who do you drop out of the top ten.

Didn't Howard only fight at 132 for the Olympic year?

Howard was a world champion at this weight although he went up to Lightweight to win Olympic gold-but lightweights have more all time greats and has been a stronger division.

Yeah, I think you're right. Davis lost to Davey Armstrong at the 1975 Pan am Trials. Another reason he shouldn't be No 1 at this weight.
