Got to hand it to FW, he has really pulled a rabbit out of the hat - especially considering he is going up against a fierce pro-Islamist like Gallway.
Disclosing documents and postings, that show the very people he is defending, are the type of people he actually condemns in real life - is nothing short of a PR masterstroke.

Galloway is a vile individual. Morrison just sounds like your average ignorant bigot.

It really is, no doubt about it. However, when you open fire and don't hold back, you have to be prepared for others to do likewise. This seems a different kettle of fish entirely to just letting your lawyers battle away.
The thing with Galloway is, he is known as a firebrand with a big mouth, I am not sure how much credibility he really has with the mainstream public. Indeed, I am not sure how much credibility he has within politics. Is he really relevant anymore ? He seems to do his own thing and create a few headlines but in many respects, with his radio shows, tv appearances and newspaper articles, he is a bit of a "shock-jock" - saying stuff to get a reaction.
So if you're going to do it over Galloway, you might win the battle but will you lose the war if you have basically ratcheted the war of words to the point where the really nasty stuff is going to come out ?

Galloway is a scumbag anyway I think. He's about as trustworthy as well fill in the blanks.

Don't know whether that's him or not though, no comment yet.

Re: Warren Letter to Galloway on Racist Morrison
Signature is 100% a forgery, just need to compare these to prove it.

You'd think they could make a better job of it than that.

Police should be able to find out who the statement's originate from, as long as they can be arsed to do their job's properly.JamieM wrote:FW is a very shrewd man, Bangs it out there 2 weeks before Rickys fight also, I cant see Morrison or Burns having the knowledge t get to him either!
Re: Warren Letter to Galloway on Racist Morrison
This has been about for a few days, doubt it will have any effect on Warren, but it only takes 30 seconds to sign.

Re: Warren Letter to Galloway on Racist Morrison
Clearly a fake. Rickys from Coatbridge - there's no way he'd proclaim "god save the queen"...
Seriously though, if FW, or whoever, has forged the signature then they're in a whole heap of bother.
Would you put it past him?

Nope, although I doubt he did it personally.airdrie diamond wrote:Clearly a fake. Rickys from Coatbridge - there's no way he'd proclaim "god save the queen"...

Re: Warren Letter to Galloway on Racist Morrison
Why the no comment to the press then ? If it was not him, why not clear your name ? I meant Morrison, not Burnsdalcumly wrote:The whole thing is bizarre. Burns would definitely not endorse these comments and to be honest I don't believe Alex Morrison would be so stupid to commit this to paper either. Re: Warren Letter to Galloway on Racist Morrison
That could be right, Galloway is very smart and as always supported muslims.G0mez wrote:Guess what?
I dont believe that's the real Gallway twitter account myself.
Its not even verified. Hence perhaps thoses letters going offline too.
Imagine that, reading a fake twitter and sending legal letters to the real person ?
Re: Warren Letter to Galloway on Racist Morrison
The press are the last people to trust right now, all they're interested in is selling newspapers, far too easy for them to spin the story in a way that doesn't exactly portray Ricky Burns in a good light. He's taken the right route by reporting the forged signature to the police.Anzi wrote:Why the no comment to the press then ? Re: Warren Letter to Galloway on Racist Morrison
It does put Galloway in a very difficult position, although the signature on the letter is a fake, because if he is seen to be supporting a racist, it can't go down well come the next election, especially in Bradford where there's a large Asian community.G0mez wrote:Possibly a parting of ways on the cards if it's the case. Re: Warren Letter to Galloway on Racist Morrison
Spot on. Any story now will have to carry the fact that Ricky has reported it to the police. Good decision by him (and the only thing he could do at this moment in time)expe wrote:The press are the last people to trust right now, all they're interested in is selling newspapers, far too easy for them to spin the story in a way that doesn't exactly portray Ricky Burns in a good light. Re: Warren Letter to Galloway on Racist Morrison
Because Galloway stands for justice in the world, I know to some people he can come over as a know it all, but he does back himself up with facts.columbo wrote:Why isnt Galloway then?Anzi wrote:No he is not at all, you are right about Morrison though ignorant to the core.Final round wrote:Galloway is a vile individual. Re: Warren Letter to Galloway on Racist Morrison
If however he is backing Morrison, he would need to find an exit route fast.
