Copperbox bill RBR
Re: Copperbox bill RBR
He'll not be gorgeous for much longer if he doesn't learn how to parry/slip a jab. A 'British' prospect for sure.

Is "British prospect" another way of going "he's had less than 20 fights and sells tickets"?Aden wrote:He'll not be gorgeous for much longer if he doesn't learn how to parry/slip a jab. A 'British' prospect for sure.
Re: Copperbox bill RBR
If I run my hand over my back I can feel a few spots, but they're not noticeable when you look at them, more like little lumps, but Hughie's is on a different level and you don't see many spots pop like the one on his back did.columbo wrote:Back acne isnt that unusual when you're younger. You're lucky if havent suffered with it to some degree.

I just wish the main event would hurry up
Re: Copperbox bill RBR
well main and co-main
Re: Copperbox bill RBR
I can't even be arsed watching Kean because I know it's going to go the distance, I might watch Buglioni because he might get the stoppage, but I have no interest in watching 4 rounds of a journeyman covering up against a prospect, especially one as average as Kean, at least Stalker has some ability and can pick holes in the opponent, Kean just sells tickets.columbo wrote:I just wish the main event would hurry up

It's a polite way of me saying I don't think he's very good but he sells tickets so he'll get looked after.Boxing Prospect wrote:Is "British prospect" another way of going "he's had less than 20 fights and sells tickets"?Aden wrote:He'll not be gorgeous for much longer if he doesn't learn how to parry/slip a jab. I bet there's a load of buttoned up collared t-shirts, side partings and loads of young men calling each other a mug in the audience tonight.
Re: Copperbox bill RBR
Exactly. I like Kean's left hook to the body but otherwise it's pretty dull like the rest of the nights action.expe wrote:I can't even be arsed watching Kean because I know it's going to go the distance, I might watch Buglioni because he might get the stoppage, but I have no interest in watching 4 rounds of a journeyman covering up against a prospect, especially one as average as Kean, at least Stalker has some ability and can pick holes in the opponent, Kean just sells tickets.columbo wrote:I just wish the main event would hurry up

Those "skinned" Reyes gloves of George gotta be hurting Dee a bit.
Re: Copperbox bill RBR
I remember Ronnie Heffron being hyped as the new Hatton. That went well....
Re: Copperbox bill RBR
There are for sure. I've noticed them and nearly commented but stopped myself because I thought I was being a cynical northern bastard.milpool wrote:I bet there's a load of buttoned up collared t-shirts, side partings and loads of young men calling each other a mug in the audience tonight.
Mitchell could open up and stop this kid if he wasn't there to lose.
Re: Copperbox bill RBR
God, i cant stand Jim Mcdonnell as a trainer. The best thing Degale could do is get away from him.
Re: Copperbox bill RBR
Kean's fans seem to be absolute retards, currently singing 'this is a shithole', they've also been using the tune from that shocking Toure song, the St Pauli we love you song, another shocker and various others.milpool wrote:I bet there's a load of buttoned up collared t-shirts, side partings and loads of young men calling each other a mug in the audience tonight.

I was 6'4 at twenty and had a spotty back. Never touched gear, either.Aden wrote:Mine was like that until I was at least 20.expe wrote:I'm younger than him and I have a few spots on my face, but my back isn't covered in them like that and I don't know anyone else like that either, especially anyone that's 19 years of age.Aden wrote:For those speculating about Hughie. 18-year-old kids get acne. It's normal. If he's still got it at 25, we can return to this conversation. What's more, most of the 18-year-old kids who will come out of their bedrooms look at their shoes when they talk to you, he's in there fighting grown men.

Re: Copperbox bill RBR
He's all about fitness, but DeGale's usually blowing out his arse after 6 rounds and he's gone backwards as a boxer, McDonnell definitely isn't right for him.stevieb_8006 wrote:totally. he burns them out overtraining I feel.columbo wrote:God, i cant stand Jim Mcdonnell as a trainer.
