I think Wlad would absolutely flatten Fury

I love the man. So silly he could eff his whole career up, but it makes the man worth watching every single time.

I think Wlad would KO Tyson in 9 rounds. He would be mostly defensive while Tyson was aggressive in the early rounds, winning his fair share of them, but when he notices Tyson starting to tire, he'd start nailing him with powershots and take him out.

Wlad would be scared shitless, Fury's bigger than him and can punch, he's cautious against smaller men who have no chance of beating him, he can't fight on the inside and if he wants to have a wrestle, I doubt Tyson would be bothered. Plus he normally leans on opponents to sap their strength, he can't do that to a man taller than him.

Lewis/Grant, Wlad/Wach, Lewis/Vitali show that when you match these behemoths with someone of their own size it can often make for a better fight.

Wlad takes advantage of smaller guys because he can, and the refs allow him to. Doesn't mean that's the only thing he can do.

If you watch the Pulev fight against Abell, it wasnt a legit knockdown. It was a legs getting tangled issue.

Round One- Looked, least of all to me, as though it were a sparring session in the gym; neither man doing much, but clearly Fury was in control of the tempo of the round, even though in my eyes he gave an impression he wasn't all that much interested in Joey Abell at all.

Round Two- Action picks up a bit, but clearly Fury was in control of the tempo with Abell showing signs of desperation in trying to get passed the reach of Fury

Round Three- Abell, still desperate, tries to make a fight of it but gets floored twice for his efforts; in my eyes, even at Tyson Fury's worst shape, it's clear he's head and shoulders above journeymen

Round Four- Abell, swinging for fences, again gets floored twice for his efforts; referee stops the action so that Abell would suffer no more punishment--- in the end, an entertaining excercise but it's safe to say Fury has tougher nights in the gym with cousin Hughie and Eddie Chambers.

Though this fight doesn't tell me much, it was nice to see Tyson back into the ring again. Considering what he's been through in passed few months: Two cancellations with Haye, his home being burnt down, his son being sick, his wife having to have emergency surgery, opponent change at the last minute (figuratively speaking), it's nice to see him come out on top. True--- had he fought someone a little better, in shape he is in, he would of had some serious issues to contend with--- but even Eddie Chambers will attest, Fury is better than people think.

I can't help but review the fight over in my mind, that Fury didn't really have to upload that many punches in this fight to end it. Two-three punches at a time and Abell kissed canvas. Is it just me, or does it seem Fury's punching power is developing even more? Or is it that Abell just doesn't have a good chin? Maybe it is both--- but was nice to see Tyson get hit clean a time or two, and not show much sign of being hurt either. When 6'5" 250 pound men land flush, and you can remain cool and collective, I think it shows that Tyson is coming into his own a bit--- he's taken a tougher road than people want to give him credit for.

steps up where?? the heavyweight wilderness? The consensus seems to be that Wlad is the only good "champion material" out there. Cunningham was a competent, seasoned, world level operator, just too small. Hence Tyson beat him. Fury will be World Champ one day, imo.

Abell was knocked out in a round by Arreola. He was also knocked out by Pulev in about the same time as Fury just did, and Pulev isnt a puncher.
