Its very rare for any sportsperson who competes at a high level to be injury free. Most boxers have some sort of injury going into a big fight. Depends of whether they choose to use that as an excuse or not.

A fully fit Floyd would have been a lock to beat Ali. I mean, he was in his prime, with an iron chin, and such advantages in size, speed and power......
