Matchmakers

Post by 80/20 »

How does a matchmaker earn his money?

I would think that there must be a lot of work that is involved in this area of the business with alot of time going into research and when building a fighter this is an important role that you never really hear much about ?

They get paid per bout they put together, some get £100 per match, others get more, not easy with all the pull outs though.

And the Ghanians or Argentinians, depending on which promoter they work for.

Difficult job for no money, pull outs, people letting you down, fighters over pricing themselves.
