Could just be bird flu

There are some people who have no idea about geography. I was discussing this with Americans elsewhere after a couple of them turned out to think that Wales was a province in England.

Which reminded me about a Canadian mate of mine who binned an English girl he'd been seeing for 6 months when it turned out she couldn't point out Canada on a map of the world.

See, there are some people that are so daft they can't even find a boxing forum to post in...

I was in LA two years back, and an American ( about 18 I'd guess ) asked me where I was from. I said England - he looked a bit confused, then asked me how I'd learnt to speak English so well......completely true!

I used to live with an American girl who thought that Boxing and Wrestling are pretty much the same thing in that neither of them are real. How that for stupidity.

and honestly, in all seriousness the american woman looked shocked and held her arm again before saying,
'my god, you know in the states we would never let blind people drive.'

No I didn't enjoy it because she was so thick she actually tried to argue her point with me. I explained it to her and she was just like "Well it's not like that back in the States, maybe it's different over here. Boxing and wrestling, they're basically the same thing...."

In DC boxing and wrestling takes largely place in Congress and the White House, and you never know indeed whether it's for real or show....so she may be forgiven

Alright you Brits......your asking for it, we will be sending our fiercest figthers your way to restore respect. Let's see what you have to say once you've faced the the "GG's".....otherwise known as the Grappling Gumps.

So's to wipe the smirks off your faces it may suprise you to learn that they are completely impervious to the extreme high altitudes they will face. Once they set seige to your shores you will find they have little time or patience for dry humor or any meaningless distractions.
