Sam Soliman stopped Garth late, and Daniel will do the same late in the bout, which will be full of spoiling and wrestling tactics by Garth.

It will not be the prettiest of fights to watch, but Daniel's skills will wear out Garth before the stoppage.

He stopped Shero mate. Some judges had it 117- 114 for soliman, and that's a victory in woods book, as he shouldn't have shared the ring that early in his career with Sams pedigree.

I've got 50 for the fight to go the distance, and 50 on Geale for the UD, so I'm tipping a Geale by UD. Had 50 on Flanagan last night as well paying $1.55. Fingers crossed.

I'd be surprised if Geale doesn't stop him. I think Geale needs to make a statement that he can KO or shut out a B Grade fighter.

Where does Geale go after this I wonder?

I agree, he needs a statement here after the barker loss. Hopefully he can make one.
I hope he can get another fight with sturm after wood

Geale to win by a wide UD. I suspect round 7 to 10 is the best bet for Daniel to get a stoppage as wood will start to slow down around round 5 to 6 and geale can setup better with jab. In the early rounds Garth will put the pressure on Daniel which which will make it hard to get an early tko. Daniel is a type of fighter who would make a big statement by winning every round and looking solid with his defence as much as stopping wood inside the distance.

Geale to demonstrate tonight for 12 rounds the difference between a world class boxer and an honest brawler. Geale to win a minimum of 9 rounds and the result a one sided UD.

A very aggressive and decisive Geale tonight. Way too classy for Wood.

Further emphasizes the gulf between Geale and Mundine. Hard to believe Wood knocked him out.

Garth visited the canvas 3 times before his handlers stopped him from coming out for round seven, and seemed a little dazed even in the ring interview from the shellacking.

Daniel was way too fast and strong and has further fish to fry overseas. Garth has no future internationally now, but could still hold his own on the local scene as long as he is not used as cannon fodder.

Lost 250 tonight, did Lauren Eagle lose? I had her in my multi times 2. It would have been the first girl fight I'd watched in ages had it been televised.

On to the fight, the class difference was massive, Geale smashed him.

Foley is lazy, I said it! Had every opportunity to win that fight, vut throws 2 or 3 punches a round, Berridge, still taking names.

Impressed with Quinn, padded records get you now where, big step for Reville, had his moments.

Pitt, wow! All critics please shhhhh, the real thing this bloke, how glad am I to see him back, how many fighters has he knocked unconscious? Love to see him fight Ammann, Flanagan and Aloua, before heading overeas.

Very good and exciting card.
