Foley versus Berridge

He will need to be on the top of his game and condition from the cage fights, as Robert is one very tough hombre. I feel that Kerry will be stopped late in the fight by Robert, based on Robert's recent ring history.

I'll go against the grain and pick foley by stoppage in the mid rounds!

It was one hard tough fight for the 10 rounds it lasted. Kudos to Kerry for taking a big risk in his comeback. Robert won the most of the early rounds with his activity, but then Foley started throwing his right and Robert hit the canvas. The fight sparked up even further as both traded big hits, but Robert started to focus on body shots, which were slowing Foley down.

Foley was getting the worse of the exchanges, and a wicked rip to the body, made him take a knee and it was all over.

Kerry if he continues will be a worthy addition to the Australian light heavy ranks, and Robert has run out of local opposition, so some decent imports need to be brought in to see if he can that step up overseas.

Not quite Kerry retired from a broken right thumb he sustained halfway through the fight.
Great fight Kerry was very rusty and ate too many punches but I did hear it was close on the cards.
I do feel berridge was runny on empty but so was Kerry and would have loved to of seen the final two rounds.
Unfortunately for Kerry he is on the injury list again but he can hold his head up high it was a great performance by both boys. Kerry really did himself no favours with no warm up fights and only ever going 6 rounds before tonight. Best of luck to Rob and I'm sure a third instalment will be just as exciting.

IMO, fight of the night. Congrats to both - excellent pro boxing affair, which will no doubt result in another. If not on Main Event, it'll happen on Fox Sports down the track in near future

Foley was impressive for a guy with no fights in the last 3 years! I think it would have been a much closer fight if Foley had taken a couple of warm ups.

It was good to see Berridge get the win i feel he deserved in their first fight, but im more certain fashion this time.

I Can't imagine it was too close on the cards at the time of the retirement. Berridge won all the early rounds and while Foley did drop him, Berridge also dropeed foley twice, including at the end of the last round with a great body shot. There were definitely times when it looked like Foley might get the KO bu I think Beeridge had the fight won by the end of the 10th and going on another 2 rounds was only going to result in Foley getting badly hurt.

Definitely fight of the night for me.

Yeah one isn't and the other a little off. First of all the punch that sent Berridge across the ring flat on hid back, means a 10-8 round, as the follow up work was beautiful, and in no way a Berridge round, 89-82 wtf. 85 - 85, I. Can't see this being right. Foley won round 1 and 6. 87- 82 for mine.

One judge seeing the fight differently to the other two is frequent occurrence. Therefore, why not change their environment & move around the ring after x amount of rounds... particularly title bouts?

I agree that this was a top world class clash. I will be interested to see what they both do next. It would be interesting to see if Berridge can fight someone with a name on the world scene. As for Foley, maybe someone like Broadhurst? I'd say McKinnon but he might be done

Yeah Foley needs 2 or 3 quick fights this year, each building upon the next. 2 and half years without a fight was evident, potentially he could do anything with his sort of power, he has to throw more than 1 punch at a time though. As much as I will tune into a Berridge fight and chear him on, he's easily hit. If Kerry had a lead jab and straight right going all night, he would of possibly faired better. Instead he wayed in so predictably and copped massive uppercuts for 10 rounds, without a receipt. I thought it could be a world class fight in years to come, but certainly was an entertaining fight, as all Berridge's fights.

Yeah all Berridge bouts are entertaining, except probably his only defeat where Caperrello outboxed him and Robbie didn't seem to have an answer, would be a great world title fight for this part of the world later on, if one of them can win a world title, that is. Certainly the regions best chances.
