Michael Moorer vs Shannon Briggs
Tried doing a search on this one, and maybe I entered it the wrong way but didn't find anything. Anyway I'm wondering how this one might have turned out. Moorer was the quicker and more skilled of the two, and neither man had solid chins, though I think Shannon was just a tad more durable. Both had big punches. Briggs was the larger of the two and by all standards a natural heavyweight. Anyone think that this might have been entertaining?

Prime vs Prime.
Moorer outboxed him and maybe stop in midrounds or take solid decision.

"Potentially" maybe. But in actuality not even close. He had few fights in that division and his best win was over Lesley Stewart. Not much to go by.Cutman Scabbers wrote:How great was Moorer as a light heavy? ATG?

He kicked Qawi's ass twice last year in the Sim last year. I should know I was Qawi's Sim ManagerVladimir5555 wrote:Spinks,Saad,Qawi much better than he.
In response to the question at hand. I think both at their best Moorer would outbox and stop Briggs in the 9th or 10th round. Briggs definitely hit hard enough that he could've possibly ended Moorer's night with a big right hand.
The Briggs that fought Lennox Lewis would definitely be a handful for Moorer though.
