Froch-Groves II. Are You Going To The Fight?

I never had any trouble going to see Barrera, or Froch (at his local arena) or Hatton, or Hunter in Hartlepool, various others. I really wanted to go to the first fight, I was just caught out by the date the tickets went on sale. Haye Fury was always a lot of nonsense, Froch Groves was the one I'd have forked out on trains and hotel for. So when the promoter says it "sold out" in 11 minutes, I consider that like being told to eff off frankly.
People have said on here after that that was incorrect, but when I heard it I never bothered going any further with it. It's like being told your money's good enough one day, but you're not welcome the next. Screw that guy.

what does that even mean?? clearly I've just said I've been to plenty of matches but when someone says these tickets when on sale and after 11 minutes they were gone, so forget it. What does "spoken like a true boxing fan " even mean?? Ok, yeah, I'm not a "true boxing fan". That statement above about 11 minutes is a great big insult to "true boxing fans" the length and breadth of the country, I'd have thought.

Just buy off one of the boxers through twitter. Save a fortune on booking fees, too.

I considered doing so on facebook - I don't actually use that Twitter perlava. Didn't bother in the end, I thought these guys will probably be in enough demand from their family and friends to be able to sell to anybody...however, I'm not sure if I'm right about that. A sale's a sale isn't it, if the undercard lads did 100 each and went and asked for more, maybe they'd get more...
Is this the way forward.......undercard fighters being approached/ possibly deluged by complete strangers over the internet?

Most people probably don't know the undercard fighters sell tickets, it's only really us lot on here who know that sort of thing, so I doubt they'll have loads asking and even if they did they won't complain because it looks good on them if they sell lots of tickets.

They all sell. Most have websites too now. I got a load for Hatton-Senchenko off Adam Etches and a few off Scott Cardle's dad for Froch-Groves. One by PayPal, one by cash via special delivery.

Rather watch it on sky with my mates round. Even if I get offered tickets I will refuse them unless they are ringside. Lost interest in attending massive fights in stadiums. The view is not good unless you literally are sat with friends and family.

same here i don't like stadium fights ,you can't see a thing i'd rather watch it in doors and save the life shows till i can actualy see the boxers fighting rather than being 200 mtrs from the ring .
