I was at a talk in with Groves last night and he said it looked like it was going to be at the Emirates

He also talked a whole load of utter bullshit, slagged DeGale and Booth off and claimed Froch didn't travel too far away from home to fight. He said Frock was old and wouldn't bring anything different to the ring.

He said Booth was a lost soul and wasn't committed to him, that he should stop away from working in boxing and would never achieve again what he did with himself and Haye, that he still had to pay Booth money out of his purses but they were still on speaking terms.

He was very disrespectful about DeGale and basically went on as if he had handed him a beating when they fought when in all honesty it could have gone either way. How DeGale was now going nowhere with his career fighting in 1000 capacity sports halls.

The worst of it was when he was talking about the Froch fight, he honestly believes he won it! How it was a terrible stoppage, he said if the ref hadn't of jumped in he would have stopped Froch in that round and the Froch onslaught was his last hooray and his tank was empty and that the rematch was going to pretty much straight forward he was even talking about who he would fight after Froch and mentioned GGG

They did let the floor ask some questions and I had a few that might have got a rise out of him but the place was full of people humping his leg I thought I might of got linched if I did

Cheers for that mate. I honestly think Groves's has turned into a pudendum. He was in good position when Degale was insulting him, left, right and centre but I think he's turned a fair number of people against him.

He is a very confident young man who had plenty time for people but he does come across badly and obviously not just in front of the cameras which I thought might have been the case.

Another interesting thing he said was he was going to change his style for the rematch because he had the abilty to but Froch didn't have that ability to change his.

Who knows? I suppose he's taken a guy (Haye) to almost the top of the sport. Where do you go from there? The very top, I suppose, but if that's after Wlad has retired it would be anti-climatic. Booth has never struck me as a lifer and I wouldn't be at all surprised if he'd grown bored of boxing and was looking for something else to occupy his time and his mind but what? Sometimes, for some people, life can be pretty boring even when those looking in think it's great.

Interesting to read Eddie Hearns article in the mail.
He was saying it's got to be a London stadium for a fight of this magnitude.
For me froch is the champion he wants it in Nottingham that's where it should be made.

Also who's to say it would sell 60K plus ?. If you live outside London and the tube system wembley/high bury are an arse to get to and would warrant a night in a hotel, that makes paying the sky box office price a lot more palatable.

Why would he be bothered? It's the sort of fight that will attract people from across the country, he'll get his own personal allocation of tickets and the reception for both fighters is likely to be mixed with neither being completely booed or cheered.
