I couldn't help but notice Michael Roberts Jr has still got no opponent confirmed for the Ricky Burns undercard?!? I am willing to fight him for free!!! If my manager Tommy Gilmour is not happy that I fight for free I have a sponsor willing to pay him my management fee! It's only 1 week away Eddie Hearn! Please make this fight happen :) The public would love to see 2 Scottish undefeated fighters in that ring!

Effing terrible state of affairs to get a fight but kudos for offering to do that Ronnie :salut:

TBH mate i think you would be better off trying to relocate down south coz boxing up here is slowly killing itself, same as all over really but Scotland,s such a small place the effects can be catasrophic

Even Limond who,s Commonwealth champion cant get a fight and when he does, its against some random African,McAllister was the same

I really hope this comes off mate

I tried to explain the politics side of boxing to Ronnie 18 months ago and still the penny doesn't seem to have dropped.
You bring nothing to the table Ronnie, your promoted by another promoter! why would Matchroom want to show you when I'm sure they could showcase one of there own against Roberts if need be.
I think you would be better waiting to fight in April to ensure your wee delicate hands are better, you never know you might even get to box over your favourite 8x2 min rounds against a Latvian roadsweeper

I am managed by Tommy Gilmour! I do not have a promoter! Matchroom could promote me! Anyone could promote me?! I sell a lot of tickets! I fight to win! What is boxing actually about? I have no hard feelings with anyone in boxing :s I only want to fight! Have I done something wrong to be ignored?! In life I believe every dog has it's day! :)

But of a silly comment at the end their Billy!! I think most apart from you would like to see this 50/50 fight rather than Ronnie fight a road sweeper as you put it!! You box to be the best not to be the next Tony Blair...

David I'm not saying it wouldn't be a good fight it certainly would but I ain't gonna happen and you know it.
Tommy will have is own agenda for Ronnie and Ronnie will need to go with that coz that's the way Tommy is.

But I have had 3 fights under Tommy and he is doing great! I have a British Eliminator with Jon Kays at purse bids again in a March. You gotta take the positives from things! I am in a 3 year contract with Tommy and I just want to be an active fighter! Fair play I ended up injured after my last fight but hey everything happens for a reason ;) I have fully recovered and would love to give the public an exceptional fight, and it in Scotland would be a big bit better :)

Has Tommy fell out with Matchroom? He used to do loads with them when Barry was the boss.

All the top fighters who could get shown on sky are with Alex Morrison,Burns, Simpson,Simmons,Brophy
Tommy only has Willie Limmond at present and I can't remember the last time they showed a commonwealth title fight

It's probably because of the lack of TV dates and he doesn't have anyone to headline an event. Ricky Burns is the attraction in Scotland right now and he's with Alex Morrison, so that's who they'll work with, if he upped sticks and went to Gilmour, they'd work with him and a few fighters would be scrambling to get out of their contracts with Morrison.

Morrison is a good manager to his fighters and his boys seem loyal to him

Wee rumour today that Hearn was happy for the fight but was refused by Alex Morrison!! Then a opponent appears for Michael.. It's ok Billy we all know it's politics.. Or a good excuse to refuse fights?? Anyway I don't need a answer on that it's rhetorical.
