First I have seen Tony Conquest, he looked smart. Amann was robotic in a lot of way but Conquest made him look stupid with slick movement and fast hands.

Conquest has fairly decent skills but I think he's pretty chinny.

He was chinned a few times in the amateurs aswell I think. I guess it would depend on who he fought for the title but it's not out of the question I agree.

Yes I believe Leon Williams chinned him in the Londons.... But in the pros he reversed the result identically. And he showed determination after being hurt against Camacho. Like any fight; it just depends who he fights for the British. Haye or Macca are out of the question, but others possibly

I like Conquest. After seeing his skills against Owoh, punch v Williams then decent all round display against Tims I thought he was Euro level with a possible alphabet title shot down the line.

Wrong again!

But he has a ton of heart & who knows how far he can go. Reminds me of Darren Barker. Not in the ring but looks & sounds a little like him.

Lots of good bouts to be made at Domestic level.

We ( Team Keane ) would jump at the chance to fight conquest in a British title eliminator and for his commonwealth :TU:

Again no obstacles or politics on our behalf, another fight were willing to take, any time any where.

Will we get the chance ? No, probably not, it's the way our great sport is going, it's not about what's best for the paying fans/public or about the fighters or there ability anymore, it's about if your face fits and who your represented by.

I'm afraid looks like Chris will be frozen out. Listening to the post fight interview with Francis and reading between the lines seems nailed on that Conquest will fight winner of Lewis-Dickinson and Dawson.

Is Chris no longer promoted by FW at all?

Was he ever ? If you know what I mean, don't even know if he was given a fight, shame really, fast and powerful, but the first chance he is given, ends up being caught by a banger, now frozen out, unlucky really, with the level of cruiserweights, people like Williams, McPhilbin becoming british champions and Conquest Commonwealth, all have been sparked, Mcphilbin by Keane.

He boxed on a couple of allegedly shows last year, but they were co-promotions with Errol Johnson, so I would that's why he was on those shows.

He still goes on Eroll's shows, don't think he sells a lot of tickets, plus he is a quiet lad, not got a big personality to sell himself, that's maybe why he is not with a big promoter, a waste really, because he could win a british title for sure, needs a top manager and promoter behind him to market him, will find it hard to get a shot unless a champion picks him, but too dangerous an opponent for that.

Yh Chris doesn't do lots of tickets, and yh were with Errol not Warren, he's a very quiet kid, shy, humble, polite, hard working, doesn't go out drinking, so no massive social life, everything you want from a fighter but down side is without the social, outgoing, his circle is small to sell tickets too, so no big promoter is interested, shame cuz I always thought your talent should speak for it self but obviously not, he was ABA & Nation heavyweight champion, beating Wadi Camacho in the final for England, he was only the 2nd person in ABA's to knock out all his opponents, but obviously that doesn't count, but if you can sell tickets and a party boy then the big promoters can build you up and sell you to the public in these hyped up, one sided fights for these bull Shi t titles and world eliminators :TU:

Chris just wants to fight, and has he's shown he is willing to fight anyone, and offered to on there home shows but still no one is interested, I don't want to name names but 1 top 10 fighter team agreed to fight us and the actual so called "fighter" refused to fight Chris, what a joke,

2 of the other top 10 fighters promoter has refused Chris has a opponent for his lads, another top 10 fighter team refused Chris has opponent, and Dawson team will only risk a re-match with Chris if there forced to fight him has mandatory, so including Chris that's most of top 10 in division, what we meant to do ?

I really believe with the right backing, and some momentum behind us Chris has the ability to reach European level for sure, he's a very fast, agile, hard hitting, exciting Cruiserweight, we liken him to Nigel Benn in many ways, he just loves to fight and cause destruction in the ring, but he's so quiet and unassuming out the ring, he will either knock you out or get knocked out, he's not afraid to test himself and risk losing in the process, he's old school, he believes to be the best he has to fight the best, and is willing to fight anyone, I just hope he gets his chance soon, he knows he's not unbeatable so why don't these lads wanna fight him ?
