Martin Murray - get a grip
Martin Murray - get a grip
I've posted in the past and all I can say is its a shame , the man had turned a corner .
I used to respect him but now I've lost faith , his agent who I know is clueless and his biggest fan who would rather have a beer with him and a Late night in his bar than guide him correctly ,Andrew justs wants too be famous . I noticed someone say Martin was tweeting at 2 and 4 am I've just seen it myself I wonder what he was doing ? Drunk again .if you follow him you will notice this a few times especially at weekends , He seems to send sly tweets and vent his feelings through twitter
I'm not having a dig at him because its just facts he needs to correct his ways and get back on track and start choosing who he mixes with slightly better
The chance of Murray ,macklin ,barker fights all seem dead in the water . Sad

Re: Martin Murray - get a grip
I posted something similar . I've heard lots of bad things too like getting thrown out of night clubs over the Xmas period and other things I said in a previous post .
Too many boxers fail at the last hurdle and many still can't get rid of the taste of a good old beer.
Ggg would destroy Murray in 5 , sturm would make easy work now . Maybe not 12 months ago but 12 months is a long time for a ageing boxer

Sturm is older than Murray mate by about 4 years. He probably lives a clean life on the whole though.1 nut wrote:I posted something similar . I've heard lots of bad things too like getting thrown out of night clubs over the Xmas period and other things I said in a previous post .

Give Murray a break, his put up great performances at world level and been unlucky on both occasions, his been promised a lot since and in a depressing place right now, he will be back and up to the job again soon, have faith

Boxers who live clean lives last longer , boxers who don't ie ricky hatton don't
The kid doesn't need a break . The post says it all. He needs too get a grip and stop feeling sorry for himself . He had two great chances and didnt take them , some boxers not get any
He should stop feeling sorry for himself and stop blaming other people
Yes he was unlucky . Very unlucky vrs Martinez but that's the past . Them performances should of made him try a little harder if possible and go too that next level
Boxing politics - ouch

I would just like to say that I'm massively disappointed to open this thread & find out that Martin Murray is not actually recording an album of Aerosmith cover versions.
Oh the humanity etc etc...

He has always been a bit of an idiot. He will never change. He can sit there on tv telling everyone he has changed and grown up or whatever but he is still the same old martin murray. Doesn't take a load of tweets to figure it out.

Sometimes facts speak more than the odd hater
I have no grief with Murray and I agree with rainford . The guy is becoming or should I say the idiot in him is coming out

Re: Martin Murray - get a grip
What are the facts?
Is it just me who thinks Murray may have stalled and waited out his contract because he's got a beef, maybe a legitimate one, with someone at Hatton Promotions, a beef originating from Murray being of the opinion that that person has not been acting in his (Martin's) best interests?

True but maybe Murray also has inflated sense of what he's worth aswell.Aden wrote:What are the facts?

Re: Martin Murray - get a grip
Indeed. How many tickets and so on does he shift though? Also as unlucky as he's been, he's not a world champion and in his last fight he looked less than stellar which also affects his marketability.SNG wrote:He may also not.columbo wrote:True but maybe Murray also has inflated sense of what he's worth aswell.Aden wrote:What are the facts?

Though I'd like to see Martin Shut Up & Dance, rather than Cryin'. I hope he manages to Eat The Rich & that he doesn't end up Crazy.

I'd agree but wasn't Julio Cesar Chavez a party animal in his heyday? Sugar Ray Robinson too I believe.1 nut wrote:Boxers who live clean lives last longer , boxers who don't ie ricky hatton don't
