Great list and pretty well sums up the Mundine legend. We need another box to say "all of the above"!

The Man has put a teaser on his twitter account about it. 5 years ago it would have been a 5 star fight.

BOXA picking their targets carefully as always. Now obviously have an eye on washed up internationals.

This would've been a relevant fight: five years ago. Stinks to high heaven now FFS! Once again, not only will I not buy this fight, I will not go to the pub and watch it either, not only that, I will not drink the beer sold at the pubs that show this fight!

Im hearing some decent fights on the undercard of this show. Clottey is a decent opponent IMO. he may be past his best but so is Choc.

Ill pay for this if there is a decent undercard...and one bout that makes perfect sense is a Nathaniel May v Waylon Law rematch. I'm sure the promoters would want it, how about the managers/fighters agree to it. This rematch would sell and go a long way to selling the card !!

I'd pay if Aloua vs Pitt. Quinlan vs Moxon ( given Dunn, Carr & Murdoch, McCulloch are fighting around same time).

May vs law would be nice, I would expect it to be a starter for a night on PPV.

Maybe some of the Dib, Akkaway family will actually fight someone decent as well. Then I would at least commit to the pub.

Mosley would have been a good opponent a few years earlier too. But the timing is no coincidence and the pattern of targeting names who are past it is likely to continue.

I have no prob with this fight really but like most of us on here I cant see how ' the man's' rhetoric aligns with his actions. Does anyone on here think that this fight will draw more than 1500 people through the turnstills?

Not too bad could be a good measure of where Mundine is at I would laugh if Clottey knocks him out.

Chad Bennett vs some African ranked 300th in the world, again with a dressed up record. Is he fighting anyone live again.

How about Bad chad vs Zappavinga.
How about Baff fight Aloua, instead of both fighting nobodies on the same card, After all, its a PABA title, it should be compulsory to fight for a title like that with a live body.

I see Quinlan dropping to Middleweight, and Bilal Akkaway scheduled to fight a 4 rounder against TBA. Akkaway is staring down a 10 and 0 record without a single decent win.
Match em against each other,

instead of offering 7 shit fights, how about 5 quality fights.
I want to believe Mundine gives a fornicate about boxing, his fans and the general well being of Australian boxing. His complaint at losing money to achieve his dream, is Karma, for dishing up pub fights for 50 bucks a pop for 50 straight fights.
He's got plenty of money, to pay Australia's rising stars the money to square off, and put on a show.

I made the following prediction on the Mundine Hypothetical thread just before the Gunnar fight.

'Hypothtical v reality (in Bold)

January - We know it is Gunner
(Mundine has said like many times before that his fists will do the talking, will win the fight, then express confusion to why the big names are avoiding him!)

March- Carlos Molina or Austin Trout (on Canelos undercard) - Will not happen. Instead another classic Boxa PPV line up against someone who was borderline world class 10 years ago
(Mundine has said like many times before that his fists will do the talking, will win the fight, then express confusion to why the big names are avoiding him!)

July/August-Erislandy Lara - Will not happen. Instead another classic Boxa PPV line up against domestic tin can.
(Mundine has said like many times before that his fists will do the talking, will win the fight, then express confusion to why the big names are avoiding him!)

November- Canelo or Cotto - Will not happen. Instead another classic Boxa PPV line up against someone domestic or 'South America's BEST'
(Mundine has said like many times before that his fists will do the talking, will win the fight, then express confusion to why the big names are avoiding him!)

Repeat the same sequence of events for 2015 and 2016 until he retires.

Thread closed'

Mundine's undercard remains poor value for money with all four: six rounders being lop-sided bouts, the 8 rounder has good old TBA pencilled in, with only the semi-main involving Brad Pitt looking the goods.

As for the main bout, with no jive talking from our Man, the result has been SFA interest in the media! Oh how the worm turns!

Zero interest is right. If you didn't posts on a boxing forum you wouldn't even know the fight was on.
