But although Maidana deserves it more after the Broner win, we've now got ourselves a less competitive fight. I'm 99% sure Khan would have given Mayweather more problems than Maidana and Floyd knows it hence the decision to go against the poll results.
Maidana's been picked because he's the better financial option, not because Khan could cause Mayweather the odd problem, not that I think he would, but Amir got too desperate and was more or less begging for the fight. The final straw was probably when his team made the offer to Mayweather that included a press tour to Dubai, India and Pakistan, I don't think they really understand that you don't make offers to Floyd Mayweather, you wait for him to come to you.

As that security guard (& Floyd's girlfriend) found out to their cost.

Watch the Baldomir fight then you've already seen this. I'll always have a soft spot for Maidana for battering Broner but this is, as everyone says, a UD12 if ever there was one.

I wonder who's more out of pocket on the big fight not happening, Khan or Tyson Fury ?

Terrible fight, Mayweather should hang his head in shame. Maidana is no competition for him, he wont land a glove all night.

Expect to witness a rare Mayweather KO.

I dreaded this fight getting made, dont get me wrong i love watching Mayweather putting on a masterclass and im not one who gets bored watching him but i was looking forward to seeing him fight Khan,it would have made for a lot more interesting fight,Khan brings something a bit different than Floyds recent opponents, both good and bad,for me this will be another,Alvarez,Guerrero,Cotto,Baldamir kinda fight where Mayweather shuts Maidana out on all 3 cards

I hope Mayweather fights Pacquiao,Lara or Golovkin before he retires

Look on the bright side, this might mean you get to see the Khan v Brook match you're always raving about.
That's an odd definition of 'raving about' you're working with there, DMA. Is that raving about as in really don't want to see, and hope it doesn't come off before Brook fights a decent fighter?

Probably Fury, I doubt Khan was going to get £5 million to fight Mayweather and a defeat would have been it for him at the top level, but if Tyson won, it opened up some other big paydays and even in defeat he has plenty of time to rebuild.
