I had to keep reminding myself Hamilton seemed like a nice guy before and during the bout(i never seen any of the pre fight talk) as i was rooting for Woodhouse all the way but he done a good job of cementing my opinion post fight,he was a class act,as was Curtis,who must go down as the most inspirational boxer from UK,
Any boxers who turn pro with aspirations to win a Lonsdale belt should look no further for inspiration from our very own Curtis Woodhouse
I know Darren personally and he is definitely one of the good guys. He does talks in schools and other youth establishments and loads of Charity Events. Very good man!

Darren Hamilton used to coach some of the white collar sessions when I trained at the real fight club in shoreditch a few years ago. Nice guy, not egotistical at all.
It was a decent fight but it was darren hamilton who turned it into curtis' fight. I cant credit hamilton too much for the way he fought as he fought right into cirtis hands, he was more scared of curtis looping right than he should have been, if darren had been more offensive he could have made it an easy night and outboxed curtis. Plus making pre fight promises you dont deliver makes you look a bit of a tool truth be known. Curtis fought as well as he can that night, hamilton was about 40% of his potential. But thats boxing, a lot of fights are won before the first bell, hamiltons backfoot arm punching lack of jab tactics ensured that this was one of those times. Respect to darren for the post fight interview comments etc, I did not see them until 2 days post fight. Respect to curtis for a great nights result and its a wonderful story that probably deserves a film or a dam good book.

Could say that john watson,steve williams and adil anwar only boxed to 40% of their potential wen they fought hamilton cause iv seen all 3 box well better
