How can I recieve B0xn@tion for just £10 a month???
How can I recieve B0xn@tion for just £10 a month???
Here's my problem...
My broadband isnt fast enough to recieve it through livesport.tv and I dont have SkyTV installed.
Im willing to get SkyTV installed (dont mind paying a one off installation fee), but I was wondering if its possible to get SkyTV installed without having to pay a subscription charge for all the other crappy channels I dont want.
I have looked up FreeSat and unfortunately there is no way to recieve allegedly through that, or freeview as Im sure you're already aware.
Any advice on how I can get B0xn@tion for just £10 a month instead of £40 (which is what I would be paying for 12 months due to a subscription charge for a bunch of other channels I dont want and would never watch) would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Not sure if you need to actually subscribe to sky or not. I assumed just a sky box was required and a viewing card but as iam a subscriber i can't say 100%

Although I know it is "only" a couple of quid a month, that is a 20% increase there ......ShadrachSimmo wrote:Not sure however the allegedly subs is goin up to 12 quid per month.

I agree. It's quite a hike if sky subscriptions went up by 20% there'd be outrage.bripez wrote:Although I know it is "only" a couple of quid a month, that is a 20% increase there ......ShadrachSimmo wrote:Not sure however the allegedly subs is goin up to 12 quid per month.

To be fair B0xnati0n has been £10.00 per month since it launched in 2011, and this is their first ever price increase. At the time that B0xnati0n launched the SKY Sports collection was £20.50 per month, on the Virgin Media platform. It's now £27.50 per month. A massive 34% increase, and there's another £2.00 jump rumored to hit SKY Sports customers this September.ShadrachSimmo wrote:I agree. To be fair it's gone to HD and I'm sure you have to pay more for Sky Sports HD, don't know whether it's 20% more or not though.ShadrachSimmo wrote:I agree. If you're sad enough to sit stressing about that, you best cancel. Most people will think however, it's only two quid a month.bripez wrote:Although I know it is "only" a couple of quid a month, that is a 20% increase there ......ShadrachSimmo wrote:Not sure however the allegedly subs is goin up to 12 quid per month.

Try virgin, they have a basic package, with telephone and broadband all in, half price for 6 months, plus their broadband is the best, you save money as well by cancelling your slow one.mickey1975 wrote:If you're sad enough to sit stressing about that, you best cancel. Is that a joke? They have made the channel HD and have increased by £2 a month, thats 2/3rds of a pint of lager a month, for a channel that brings you ppv's that cost $70 alone in the U.S.bripez wrote:Although I know it is "only" a couple of quid a month, that is a 20% increase there ......ShadrachSimmo wrote:Not sure however the allegedly subs is goin up to 12 quid per month.
Crazy how tight some people are.

Any idea yet when it's going to go HD on Virgin?
I know it's only £2 but I don't like the idea of paying extra so SKY customers can get HD.

The app uses less data, the broadband where I live is rubbish but it works just fine. The occasional jitter but nothing major. The Insider wrote:I don't think his broadband is quick enough to stream reading the OP.leejonesjnr wrote:You can use the allegedly app and get an Apple TV to stream it to the TV

The rise is not for HD but for the rising costs when picking up fights. Apparently!SNG wrote:Any idea yet when it's going to go HD on Virgin?
